Club Season

2025-26 Season Details

The club season begins in November and runs through February/March/April depending on the age and level of the team. See the options below for more detail. Team fees include facilities, coaching, tournaments, uniforms and team related registration costs. Players will need to pay to register with USA Volleyball in addition to their team fee. Tryouts are required for the Advanced program teams. Development program teams will be registration only within the capacity of the program.  Players may register for the Development program and receive a full refund if they tryout and make an Advanced team.  Players should NOT register for the Development program if they are trying out for another club.

Advanced Season Details - Tryout Progam

  • Tryouts determine team placement
  • Open to grades 5-9 with 1-2 teams at each age level
  • Practices start in November with competition starting in January
  • All local tournaments*
  • Top teams at each age may travel once to Rochester or Duluth
  • Players receive -- 2 uniform tops, 1 pair of shorts, 1 practice tee, 1 warm up top 
  • 11's & 12's Player Fees = $1,805-$1,905
  • 13's-15's Player Fees = $1,990-$2,090

Development Season Details - No Cut Program

  • Teams formed by registration with limited capacity (no cuts) - Players that attend tryouts will receive a refund if selected for an Advanced team
  • Open to grades 5-8
  • Practices start in November with competition starting in January
  • All local tournaments
  • Players play in 3 events
  • All programming is on weekends
  • Players receive -- 1 uniform top, 1 pair of shorts, 1 practice tee, 1 warm up top
  • Player Fees = $799

Club Practice Info

ADVANCED

  • 2 practices per week
  • 90-120 minutes in length
  • Locations: Wayzata HS, Providence Academy, or Meadow Ridge Elementary
  • Days: Sun/Mon/Tues/Thurs between 6-9 PM
  • Practice schedule may not be the same week to week and will be posted 1 month prior to the start

DEVELOPMENT

  • 1 practice per week
  • 90-120 minutes in length
  • Locations: Wayzata HS
  • Days: Sunday afternoons

Club Program Competitions

ADVANCED

Competition starts in January. Each team will participate in local, primarily single-day tournaments. Based on competitive placement, one multi-day event may be included. Tournaments will take place within the metro and surrounding areas. The full schedule, including dates and events, will be finalized in December upon confirmation of tournament registrations. Competitions will generally occur every other weekend, though this may vary.


DEVELOPMENT

Competitions begin in January.  Teams will play in three Saturday events through the end of February.  Most events will be held in Champlin.

Ages for the 2025-26 Season are as follows

Fusion will not be playing in any events outside our region or national events governed by USA Volleyball's player age rules. Players with birthdates outside the required dates will be able to play with their grades on based on NCR's Grade Waiver.
